like all of my email series tend to do, Growing Up Saved has reached the end. It’s the most sensitive of topics and I’ve so appreciated your emails and comments and the conversations we’ve had throughout this. Writing is one thing and it’s great, but interacting with you is everything. I really am so glad you’re here.

In the conversations about deconstruction that happen online, there isn’t a lot of room for people who have deconstructed the frameworks of their faith, but not necessarily the tenants of it. The contents of faith can remain the same while the framework around it changes. That’s where I’ve been, where my husband has been, and where a lot of people still are.

It’s a place of ruin, sure.
But the ruins aren’t the end of our faith.
