One of the series I’m most excited to share soon, as the first series in the liminal way is called: “To Whom It May Concern: Letters to the Faith that Raised Me.”
I’ll be writing open letters to the systems, beliefs, people, and practices that shaped my earliest spiritual life.
I want to invite you to write your own.
If there’s something you’ve never said out loud—to your childhood church, your youth pastor, your old self, purity culture, a theology book, a doctrine, a worship song—this is your chance.
You can submit anonymously or with your name, whatever feels right to you. Some will be featured in a email or in the liminal way community. Some might make it into upcoming workshops or reflections.
If you want to be part of it, submit your letter here.
Don’t feel any pressure to be polished about it. Just write.
Now that we’ve got all this out of the way, I’m excited for what’s next. Not where we were. Not where we’re gonna be. But there’s goodness to be found here in the middle.
Hi, what platform will this be hosted on? How will it be different than the content you share here on Substack, just the additional community aspects ?
Hi, I'm from Singapore. I wanted to join in, but given the time difference and all, do you think I would still get the most out of it even if I can't attend the virtual gatherings? this liminal way is my season, which I wrote about earlier this year, so this resonates a lot. Longing for a community.
