thank you, kristen, for this series. everything about it was delightful and it's helped me embrace the coziness of this season instead of fearing and fighting the cold. i think i'll read back through them and do more of the activities while i wait for my birthday in february! blessings, helen
I have enjoyed these so much! My mom and I have been both reading them! I think I'll re read them all again! Thank you so much for these! And on the last one of all quotes you used St. Augustine my favorite saint, who we named a baby we lost after. Warmed my heart! These were worth so much more than $5! Can't wait to read the ebook!
Kristen, I have so looked forward to these posts throughout this past month; they have been fun, encouraging, and challenging! Thank you for sharing this with us; I can’t wait to download the Ebook!
I have so loved the series! As a south Florida woman who doesn’t really have the coldness of winter, I always feel trapped and bummed out by the everlasting sameness. Nothing changes and somehow it still feels like the dark. This line in particular encouraged me: “God hasn’t hidden himself from you. He hasn’t run away from you. You don’t have to fight for his presence, he’s already with you.” ✨
Thank you so much for all the time and energy you have put into creating this series. I love the point you made about wintering being about surrendering to the reality we’re in instead of trying to escape it. I have found so much more joy during these winter months than I ever would have expected to. Even on the days (like today) that feel particularly melancholy. I appreciate your creativity, words, and wisdom. I’m so sad the December series has come to an end, but so grateful for the journey it took us all on!
Thank you so much for the warm comforting hug this wintering series has been. My December has been so overwhelming and I treasuring up these emails to go back through and soak up the activities and God-thoughts more deeply than I could drink them in this first time around. But I have so enjoyed each one and felt like something has unlocked in my heart in the area of gratefulness for winter. Thank you so much ❤️
