I can't believe your twins are nearly two! Time really flies. It's amazing to see them doing so well and clambering all over the rocks of NYC 🏙️

I used to love writing, but then our church trauma happened and my words and desire to write disappeared under the intense shock and grief. Your course would help me find my voice again. ❤️

I would love to win a spot in your course. As a single mom of three teen girls, I have had a few years of trauma that have landed me here that I would love to put on paper - but need a bit of a nudge and helping hand to do so. This would be such a gift!

Not sure if this is allowed, but I’d love to enter the giveaway to gift to my MIL. She’s got a beautiful story of redemption, and she’s tried to write it all down she’s gotten stuck a few times. I think this course would be perfect, and I’d LOVE for her to be able to join.

Would love to enter the giveaway. Through my psychology classes i was introduced to the idea of narrative therapy and have started the process of writing my story and could use some help. In Anatomy of the Soul Dr. Curt Thompson recommends to write your life story and read it to a trusted friend, pastor, or therapist- as the process of remembering-the facts but also the feelings, sensations, images, colors, smells, and writing by hand, and sharing our story out loud integrates our implicit memories, brings healing, and new neural pathways.

I would like to be entered in to your give away. I absolutely Love and really resonate with your writing. It is amazing! After years of a turmoil in a tragic marriage and basically left to raise 5 kids by myself I seem to have writers block. I have been told by others in my life that I am a storyteller and would like to find my way back to writing. Thank you for sharing!

Count me in for an entry! This course sounds like something that could be so good for me in this season as I toy with the idea of calling myself a writer and attempt to process hard parts of my story.

Thank you for all of the writing you do. I’ve been reading since your early blog days and always appreciate your stories. I used to love writing poems in high school filled with teen angst and would write long posts on FB and IG, but as life has gotten busier (I have my own NICU twins plus 1) I haven’t had the capacity to sit a write so this sounds wonderful and like a reset for my busy life.

1. I’ve been to NYC once...it was a self proclaimed graduation trip. I starred in wonder at a man on a bench with thick goggle glasses and trousers up to his chest. He was feeding squirrels and waved me over. In a thick New York accent he explained which one would run by and which one would be brave enough to sit in my hand...and he was right. My then boyfriend, now husband even managed to snap a photo on our cheap 35mm camera. 2. I left the city with a stomach bug and pink eye in both eyes and still have so many fond memories of that trip. 3. I can’t imagine taking kids into NYC...we did DC a few times while camping in PA (we live nomadically in our camper which I think is how I stumbled upon your account on stale ol’ Instagram but I digress) it was a lot to manage!
